"Gen0x” began as a project title in 2020 when I started dabbling in NFTs. However, the project took much longer than expected and I am now known in the NFT world as 'gen0x'.

I started trading crypto in 2013 after stumbling across the world's first and only Bitcoin ATM machine in a coffee shop in Vancouver, B.C. while attending grad-school. Prior to crypto I ran a creative studio doing graphic design, illustration and web development. I also started other small businesses and am a lifelong collector of books, comics, toys and other cultural curios new and old. Because of my background in art, collectibles and entrepreneurship, I understood the potential of this new asset class and was very quickly drawn into the world of NFTs after discovering it in 2020.

It’s been 10 years since I started trading crypto and it's been a intriguing, rewarding but also jading journey. Among all that I have seen & done, designing, building and creating art still very much excites me. Hence, I have been trying to make the transition from trader/speculator to creator/builder over the last 2 to 3 years.

In March of 2023 I dropped my first NFT and painted a 2.5X2.5m (8.2'X8.2') mural (of the same artwork) at the Wassie Hotel in Singapore (Links- NFT | Mural. I am currently working on a few other projects concurrently and I’m excited to share more very soon. (For updates - pls follow me on Twitter.
